Blue not because I'm sad, just cold. I went to the city yesterday and had a blast. Walked for miles and managed to find a great zipper supplier who let me choose all the colors I wanted! Thanks zipper guys!

new bag!

My first bag since the holiday shop. And... it's for me! Which would explain the lazy stitches and stray threads. For all the bags I make, I didn't have one that I really used. So now, I do. It's silver vinyl. Vinyl can be really tricky to sew because you can't rip out the stiches. The needle makes a permanent hole so you're stuck with what you have. It's a bit challenging. I've wrestled with my sewing machine every time I've worked with vinyl. I swore I was never going to use it again but then the silver was peeking out at me in the remnants section....How could I resist!

I've had a crazy couple of weeks. I think I've sold out of most of my bags! I'm excited to start working on new stuff although I'm not sure what it will be. That's the part that I get anxious about. Not making the stuff , just sitting around thinking about it. Not that there is ever really sitting around time. I guess I should get working!
